Job summary

Sun Outdoors seeks an Activities Assistant to help coordinate a variety of resort activities and events, enhancing guest experiences at the property. You will assist with planning, setup, and execution, engaging guests and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

The role requires strong communication, independent and team collaboration, and the ability to multitask while maintaining equipment and spaces in good condition. Join a supportive team with growth opportunities and flexible perks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Basic computer proficiency including email and internet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and attends activities such as picnics, sporting events, dances, and dinners.
• Sets up and cleans up event spaces before and after activities to ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Promotes a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
• Serves as a role model for Sun standards and reputation.
• Helps maintain attendance tracking for each activity.
• Assists with training activities team members and volunteers.
• Assists with distributing weekly newsletter to resort residents and guests.
• Ensures all equipment and supplies are kept in good condition.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
