Job summary

Waypoint Management Services seeks a Leasing Consultant to drive new leases by leveraging sales and customer service skills, guiding prospective residents through tours and the leasing process. You will be a brand ambassador, coordinating with marketing and property teams to showcase the community and secure move-ins.

The role requires energy, strong communication, and weekend availability, with benefits including health coverage, 401k, PTO, and employee housing discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leasing, sales, or hospitality experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with prospective residents through tours, calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
• Serve as a resource on community features, floorplans, amenities, pricing, and comparisons.
• Respond promptly, follow up, overcome objections, and convert prospects into leases.
• Manage the leasing process, including qualification, lease prep, move-ins, rent calculations, prorations, and financial communications.
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activity, prospect traffic, and lease files.
• Contribute to occupancy goals through new leases, renewals, and waitlist management.
• Support marketing through outreach and networking to generate leads.
• Ensure the leasing office, model apartments, and amenities are tour-ready.
• Provide exceptional service to residents addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Understand and apply Fair Housing laws, lease documents, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
