Paycom - ATS seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct patient care under a physician’s referral and a PT plan of care, in accordance with New Mexico regulations and within the PTA scope.

Responsibilities include treating functional mobility, motor function, strength, balance, ambulation, and patient education, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, pursuing continuing education, and supporting PT service marketing while maintaining clinical documentation and confidentiality.

Formación

• Graduate of nationally-accredited PTA program.
• Work experience: greater than one year preferred, but new graduates welcomed to apply.
• License/Certification: Must be eligible for current licensure with the New Mexico State Physical Therapy Board. BLS required before employment begins.

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled treatment of functional mobility, strength, balance, and ambulation.
• Follow a plan of care with measurable goals and patient needs.
• Document per APTA guidelines and bill charges timely.
• Educate patient and family to promote independence on discharge.
• May require working occasional weekends.
