Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the Physical Therapist in providing care within long-term care or related settings. The PTA will implement treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.

Key responsibilities include carrying out plans for individual or group therapy, assisting with gait and transfer training, educating patients and caregivers, and supporting accurate documentation and compliance with Medicare

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required from an accredited PTA program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist for individual or group therapy.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and endurance; provide gait and transfer training and therapeutic exercises.
• Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and safety techniques.
