Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to implement the plan of care established by the supervising physical therapist, treating patients of all ages and serving as a clinical resource for staff and students.

This role offers a sign-on bonus and requires ongoing education, patient/family instruction, and precise documentation in accordance with CTSCP67 and DNV Hip/Knee requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and PTA licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• CE requirements for DNV Hip/Knee program may apply.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, families, and colleagues using effective teaching methods.
• Follows and adjusts the plan of care with documentation of communication with the evaluator.
• Produces documentation per CTSCP67 protocol.
• Participates in annual education for DNV Hip/Knee replacement requirements.
