Job summary

The position offers a sign-on bonus and requires licensure as a PTA, BLS within 30 days, and completion of required continuing education for joint replacement programs, with supervision and documentation per policy.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.
• Complete board exam on next available date.
• Continuing education requirements for joint replacement programs as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant and effective teaching methods.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care and adjusts treatment based on patient response with documented communication.
• Produces documentation in accordance with CTSCP67 Clinical Documentation Policy.
• Completes annual education as assigned to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program requirements.
