Job summary

Citrus Heights Post Acute is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in providing resident-centered care. The PTA will help implement treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective rehabilitation.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree in PTA and CA PTA licensure. Proficiency with Net Health and PointClickCare is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in California.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care for records.
• Ability to read and follow policies and procedures.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per regulations.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and infection control.
• Participate in care conferences and rehab meetings.
• Assist training of Restorative Aides.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning to the team.
• Educate residents and families on exercises and safety.
• Recommend durable medical equipment to aid mobility.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents and company information.
• Support quality improvement initiatives.
