Responsibilities

• Treat residents under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in care conferences and rehabilitation meetings; comply with state regulations.
• Assist nursing staff with training of Restorative Aides.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with the care team.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and safety.
• Recommend and facilitate ordering of durable medical equipment to aid mobility.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents and company information.
• Contribute to quality improvement and rehabilitation program development.
