Job summary

Piedmont Walton Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our inpatient and outpatient rehab teams. You will evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan, support mobility, and prevent disability with evidence-based modalities.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PT program (BS/MS/DPT), current Georgia PT license or compact, BCLS, and 2 years of experience preferred. CEUs as required by the state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State
• 2 years of experience Preferred
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants.
• May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
