Job summary

Piedmont Walton Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive PT services across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will evaluate, treat, and support patients to restore function and reduce pain, across pediatric to geriatric populations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a team and may involve guidance of staff. A Georgia PT license and BCLS are required, with 2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
• Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State.
• BCLS certification (Basic Life Support) required.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Our inpatient therapy team—consisting of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology—is staffed seven days a week with flexible, varied schedules. We care for a diverse inpatient population, including orthopedic, neurologic, oncology, and generalized debility cases. Our outpatient department offers Physical and Occupational Therapy services, and due to fluctuating volumes, our outpatient clinicians are encouraged to be cross‑trained for inpatient care to help maintain productivity while prioritizing excellent patient outcomes. Responsibilities

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
