Job summary

Schillings is seeking a detail‑oriented Purchasing Receiving Specialist for our Saint John, IN location. The role supports day‑to‑day PO processing, receiving activities, and coordination with vendors to ensure accurate, timely transactions in the ERP system.

The ideal candidate will verify item numbers and quantities, post receipts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain documentation. 1+ years in receiving/procurement and strong Excel/ERP skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to timely ERP transactions.
• Ability to prioritize multiple POs in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Experience with ERP receiving, PO posting, and discrepancy resolution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound deliveries with vendors and carriers; schedule receiving.
• Receive materials and verify item numbers, quantity, and condition; match packing slips and BOLs to POs.
• Post receipts in the ERP/inventory system and maintain complete documentation.
• Create labels and route received items to the appropriate department.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal Purchasing Buyers/Agents.
