Job summary

Tri Valley Opportunity Council, Inc. is seeking Classroom Aide Subs to cover for staff absences and assist with daily activities, behavior management, and family outreach about program services.

You'll support classroom operations, help maintain a safe, clean environment, assist with diapering and feeding as needed, and communicate with parents in a respectful, professional manner while upholding privacy policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age and capable of learning program systems.
• Excellent communication skills with children and families.
• Comfortable using computers and program-specific systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities and classroom management.
• Help maintain positive relationships with parents.
• Know medical needs and respond to allergies.
• Assist in communicating with parents per privacy policies.
• Support safety, sanitation, and supervision of children.
• Obtain First Aid and CPR within 90 days if hired.
