Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for PRN Day Shift at BSW Marble Falls Hospital. The PTA will work under a physical therapist to conduct assessments, administer interventions, and guide patients through rehabilitative exercises.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, developing home programs, and supervising aides. Must be able to support weekends and maintain high standards of patient care within a team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy interventions as planned by the Physical Therapist.
• Instructs and assists patients, monitors progress and status.
• Assists with patient mobility, transfers, and gait.
• Develops and documents home exercise programs as needed.
• Communicates with the PT regarding progress and goal modification.
• Supervises PT aides and students as assigned.
