Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Marble Falls Hospital site. This PRN daytime position requires weekend availability to support patient care and therapy services.

The role involves evaluating and treating patients, planning discharge, and educating families while maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to reimbursement practices. A focus on ongoing education and teamwork is essential in this setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Masters' or Bachelors plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, treats and monitors patient. Modifies therapy program and goals.
• Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner; enters charges; understands reimbursement related to practice setting.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers and the medical care team; provides education to patients, family and staff.
• Supervises ancillary staff, students and volunteers.
• Advances clinical skills through ongoing education and evidence-based practice.
• Imparts knowledge to develop the clinical skills of colleagues; adheres to organizational, national and state regulatory guidelines.
• Maintains awareness of system goals and aligns personal goals to support system objectives.
