Job summary

Ventura Services Florida is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering patient care. You will assist with transfers, prepare patients and equipment, and help implement treatment plans under supervision.

You will participate in scheduling, documentation, QA activities and strive to maintain quality patient care while communicating professionally with patients, families and staff across departments.

Qualifications

• Associate in Science in Physical Therapy required.
• Current Physical Therapy license in Florida.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing patient treatment plans with senior staff.
• Provide patient transfers and prepare patients and equipment.
• Ensure safe, timely treatments and involve family when indicated.
• Adjust schedules to caseload and department needs.
• Document care in accordance with accepted standards.
• Participate in QA/PI monitoring and reporting.

Education

Associate in science degree in Physical Therapy

Must have a current Physical Therapy license from the State of Florida

Must have a current CPR Certification
