Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified physical therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. You will work under the guidance of a Physical Therapist to help treat patients by following individualized care plans designed by Physical Therapists.

You will ensure quality treatment leading to functional outcomes and assist in implementing treatment programs tailored to each patient’s needs. You will document patient responses after each visit and maintain open communication with the PT, Rehab

Qualifications

• Qualified physical therapy assistant candidates.
• Ability to assist in implementing individualized plans of care.
• Ability to communicate patient progress and treatment responses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With guidance of the Physical Therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
