Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide direct rehab care in a post-acute setting under physician referral. You’ll work with PTAs, Rehab Aides, and students while following established treatment plans and ensuring high quality patient care.

Required: PT degree (BSPT/MSPT/DPT), active state license, CPR, and strong communication skills; new grads are welcome. This on-site role emphasizes teamwork and compliance with Life Care standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT/MSPT/DPT).
• Current state license in good standing.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Follow PT treatment plans for patients.
• Establish, assess, and modify realistic goals.
• Oversee care by PTAs and Rehab Aides; supervise students.
• Chart accurately and timely.
• Use therapy software correctly.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Assist in evacuation of patients.
• Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
• Communicate effectively on interdisciplinary teams.
• Read, write, and understand English.
