Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include following PT treatment plans, charting, and coordinating with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT).
• Active state license in good standing. Must maintain license throughout employment.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must stay current.

Responsibilities

• Follow physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of the supervising PT.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Maintain dependable, regular attendance.
• Communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team.
