Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver direct rehab care to patients per physician referrals, in line with laws and Life Care standards. A BSPT/MSPT/DPT and an active state license are required, with CPR to be obtained if not currently held.

New grads are welcome; one year of experience is preferred. The role involves collaboration with PTAs and rehab staff, documentation, and adherence to departmental goals and compliance training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT).
• Currently licensed/registered in the applicable State and maintain active licensure.
• New grads welcome; 1 year experience preferred; CPR required upon hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Follow and implement department goals, policies, and procedures.
• Plan for patient needs by liaising with patients, families, and support departments.
• Demonstrate proper body mechanics and make independent decisions when warranted.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with Life Care Code of Conduct and policies.
• Follow therapy treatment plans and chart appropriately.
