Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct rehab care under a licensed PT in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards. Requires ASPT degree, active state license, and CPR certification; 1 year experience preferred, new grads welcome.

Responsibilities include following treatment plans, charting, using therapy software, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy
• Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Follow physical therapy treatment plans under supervision of the PT
• Chart appropriately and timely
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Assist in the evacuation of patients
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team
• Read, write, speak, and understand English
