Job summary

Mercy Health in Springfield, OH, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to perform initial and ongoing assessments and deliver skilled interventions. The role may include outpatients, inpatients, pediatrics and off-site locations within the care continuum.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, provide daily therapy, and document progress in the EMR. Supervision of assistants and adherence to safety policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice.
• BL S Basic Life Support (preferred; required within 30 days for some sites).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
• Ability to work with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops an appropriate treatment plan with goals.
• Provides direct therapy daily following the plan of care and standards.
• Documents care, progress, and coordination of services in the EMR.
• Supervises PT assistants when applicable.
• Maintains productivity while ensuring quality care.
• Complies with departmental policies on safety and infection control.
