Job summary

Mercy Health's St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH is hiring a Physical Therapist for the Outpatient Clinic.

This full-time role (36 hours/week) involves performing initial and ongoing assessments, delivering skilled therapeutic interventions, and coordinating care across inpatients, outpatients, pediatrics, and off-site locations. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating treatment plans, documenting progress in EMR, and supervising the physical therapy assistant.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in current practice state.
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred; required within 30 days for RSFH)

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops treatment plans with specific goals.
• Provides direct therapy daily according to the plan of care and standards of practice for Physical Therapy.
• Documents care, patient progress, and coordination of services in the EMR with timely co-signatures where applicable.
• Maintains productivity without compromising quality and delivers efficient care.
• Supervises the physical therapist assistant’s interventions and growth.
• Follows safety, infection control, and compliance policies and procedures.
