Job summary

Blessing Health System in Quincy, IL is seeking a Physical Therapist to assess patient and family needs and provide therapeutic care; you will lead the development and evaluation of the plan of care with the therapy team.

This role serves patients across the lifespan from neonate to geriatric, aligning with the hospital's mission and core values and supporting the Performance Improvement / Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy (BS OR MS or Doctorate)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assess patient/family health problems and resources and provide technical therapeutic care and intervention.
• Take leadership role in development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a care plan provided by the therapy team.
• Provide services to a wide age range from neonate to geriatric, tailoring care to developmental age when applicable.

PAY RATE: $40.23 - $60.35

BASED ON RELEVANT EXPERIENCE + $3.50 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL IF APPLICABLE

Job Summary

This position is responsible for assessing of patient/family/significant other health problems and resources and for providing technical therapeutic care and intervention to designated patient populations. This position takes a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan of care provided by the therapy team.

This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement / Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.

Education/Training/Experience

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Possess current Illinois Physical Therapy License, website listing, or letter to test from Department of Professional Regulation in the State of Illinois.
