Job summary

REGENCY IHS THERAPY CONSULTING LLC seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to implement therapeutic programs under a Physical Therapist's supervision at Heritage Park Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Austin, TX. The PTA will assist with exercises, gait training, and mobility activities as part of the plan of care.

The ideal candidate will hold a two-year PTA program, Texas licensure, and prefer experience in home health settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a two year college level PTA program accredited/approved by the APTA.
• Current Texas license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Two year experience in home health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Physical Therapist and Rehab Director to align therapy with the plan of care.
• Teach and guide patients in exercises and precautions to improve ROM, strength, balance, and functional ability.
• Observe and document patient responses to treatment and report any changes.
• Participate in patient case conferences to coordinate the plan of care.
