Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to implement therapeutic programs under the supervision of a Physical Therapist at Memorial City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Houston, TX. Qualifications

• Graduate of a two year college level PTA curriculum.
• Current Texas license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Two year experience in home health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and collaborates with the Physical Therapist and Rehab Director to integrate the therapeutic program into the plan of care.
• Guides the patient in exercises, gait training, and precautions to improve ROM, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, or functional ability.
• Observes and documents patient response to treatment and any changes in condition; communicates these to the supervising PT and care team.
• Participates in patient case conferences to coordinate the plan of care and support positive outcomes.

Education

Graduate of a two year college level curriculum in Physical Therapy Assistant
