Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to open new accounts, educate customers on financial needs, and recommend products and services through in-person and outbound interactions. They will assist with teller tasks and promote digital banking, delivering friendly service during all customer encounters.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of customer service and banking experience. Training is provided, with a 4-6 month program to build product knowledge and relationship

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of face-to-face customer service experience.
• Previous cash handling experience required.
• Prior sales experience required.
• One year of banking experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to market Bank products and services.
• Experience in a retail sales environment preferred.
• Ability to use and learn multiple banking software programs.
• Attention to detail and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and submit loan applications.
• Comply with bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve customer service issues and process account maintenance requests.
• Promote the bank's digital banking services and products.
• Assist customers with teller transactions and related duties.
• Provide friendly, accurate, and timely service during interactions.
