Job summary

Big Tex Trailer World is seeking a parts sales associate to greet customers at the parts counter, identify needs, and recommend parts while processing transactions using the POS and My Trailer Force system.

This role supports inventory, places orders to replenish stock, assists service scheduling, and collaborates with the service team to ensure timely parts delivery and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• May substitute three years of commissioned sales experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• 3-5 years commissioned sales experience preferred.
• Monday–Saturday work with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the parts counter with a friendly, knowledgeable demeanor.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable parts.
• Process parts transactions accurately using the POS and MTF system.
• Answer inbound and make outbound sales calls; follow up on opportunities.
• Prepare sales paperwork and invoices; manage incoming parts shipments.
• Maintain organized inventory and update stock levels; place replenishment orders.
• Collaborate with service department to identify required parts for jobs.
• Coordinate with the team to meet service job timelines and schedules.
