Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a patient-focused Optometrist to join an affiliated independent practice near a Warby Parker location. You will practice under the supervision of the practice's supervising optometrist(s) and work with a team to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

You will diagnose and treat vision conditions, educate patients on options, and help grow the eye exam business while staying current with clinical practices and technology.

• Licensed Doctor of Optometry practicing in-state.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations.
• Collaborate with store team to enhance patient experience and grow the eye exam business.
• Prescribe eyewear, contacts and eye health solutions; educate patients on options.
• Coach the team to support patients throughout their journey.
• Be a visible clinical presence and reinforce eye care leadership.
• Use EMR tools to streamline care and patient experience.
• Support KPIs by delivering excellent clinical care.
• Collaborate with Store Leader to align goals and strategy.
• Maintain accurate medical records per regulatory standards.
• Maintain state licensure and continuing education requirements.
• Serve as a brand ambassador and inspire patients and team.
• Pursue growth opportunities to expand skills and business acumen.
• Perform other tasks to provide exceptional patient experience.
