Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Associate Attorney - Landlord for our New York office. This on-site, permanent role focuses on landlord-tenant litigation in a sophisticated real estate practice, representing landlords, property owners, developers, and management companies in residential and commercial disputes.

Active New York Bar is required, with approximately 3–4 years of landlord-tenant or related litigation experience.

Qualifications

• Active admission to the New York Bar.
• Approximately 3–4 years of landlord-tenant, real estate, or related litigation experience.
• Represent landlords, property owners, developers, and management companies in residential and commercial disputes.

Responsibilities

• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, stipulations, agreements, and other substantive legal documents.
• Appear in Housing Court and assist with matters pending in New York Supreme Court.
• Manage an active caseload while meeting court, client, and billable deadlines.
