About the Role:

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of landlord-tenant disputes and related litigation matters in a supportive and engaging firm environment. With no billable hour requirements, attorneys can focus on delivering exceptional client service and legal representation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle landlord-tenant litigation, including nonpayment and holdover proceedings.
• Represent clients in court appearances, trials, motions, and settlement negotiations.
• Provide legal guidance on housing regulations, lease agreements, and tenant disputes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• At least three years of experience handling landlord-tenant matters.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of cases efficiently.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
