Job summary
Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Columbia County, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join our leadership team and ensure efficient nursing schedules.
You will manage scheduling, timecards, attendance, and staffing coverage while maintaining HIPAA compliance and supporting the DON and HR. This full-time role offers a team-focused environment and opportunities to improve resident care through effective staffing.
Qualifications
- Previous staffing experience in a skilled nursing facility is required.
- Experience creating and maintaining nursing schedules in a long-term care setting.
- Experience with timekeeping, AHCA staffing reports, and payroll processes is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic scheduling/timekeeping systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and update monthly nursing schedules to ensure appropriate staffing coverage across all units.
- Review, approve, and process weekly nursing staff timecards for payroll.
- Monitor and report attendance, tardiness, and absenteeism to DON.
- Collaborate with HR and DON to coordinate modified-duty schedules.
- Assist employees with leave requests and scheduling questions.
