Job summary

TEGNA Inc. is seeking a Multi-Market Commercial Producer to lead end-to-end commercial productions for a range of clients across markets.

You will manage client relationships, develop concepts, and coordinate budgets, timelines, and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality content on schedule. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, 3–5 years in commercial or video production, a strong portfolio, and proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial or video production.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating successful commercial productions.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in video production tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
• Exceptional communication and client relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Client Management: serve as primary contact and guide projects from concept through delivery.
• Videography & Photography: plan and execute shoots, capture high-quality visuals.
• Project Planning & Development: develop concepts, storyboards, scripts, and timelines.
• Production Execution: oversee pre-production, shooting, post-production, and delivery.
• Budget Management: prepare budgets and negotiate with vendors.
• Creative Direction: contribute visuals, graphics, and animations to meet client goals.
• Post-Production Supervision: manage editing, audio, color, and effects.
• Collaboration & Communication: align with sales, marketing, and production teams.
• Equipment Management: maintain and transport gear, ensure readiness.
