Job summary

TEGNA is seeking a Multi-Market Creative Producer to independently shoot, write, and edit promotional content for regional marketing. You’ll own the full production cycle from concept to final cut across TV, digital, and social formats.

Candidates should have 3-5 years in video production, strong portfolio, and advanced editing skills with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects. Ability to collaborate across teams and meet tight deadlines is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in media production, film, communications or related field (or equivalent).
• 3-5 years in video production, including writing, shooting and editing promos.
• Proficiency with cameras, lighting, sound equipment; strong portfolio.
• Advanced editing software skills: Premiere Pro, FCP, After Effects.
• Experience with scriptwriting and storytelling for short-form content.
• Independent worker with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with digital marketing formats and motion graphics basics.
• Attention to visual storytelling and high production standards.

Responsibilities

• Concept development with regional teams to align with brand messaging.
• Scriptwrite and create compelling scripts for marketing promos.
• Plan, shoot, light, record audio, and capture footage for campaigns.
• Edit and assemble footage into polished promos with proper pacing.
• Oversee post-production, graphics, music, and voiceovers as needed.
• Collaborate with directors, GM, and news teams to refine concepts.
