Job summary

TEGNA is seeking a Multi-Market Commercial Producer to lead the production of television and digital commercials from concept to delivery. You will manage client relationships, oversee creative development, schedules, and budgets while coordinating cross-functional teams across locations.

The role requires hands-on videography and editing, ability to shoot and direct, and adherence to brand standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1–3 years in commercial or video production.
• Strong portfolio of commercial productions.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with video production tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry trends; experience with varied clients preferred.
• Experience scripting, directing, shooting, and editing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the production process.
• Plan, shoot, and edit video content for commercials and branded content.
• Develop concepts, storyboards, scripts, and production plans.
• Manage timelines and budgets; coordinate internal teams and contractors.
• Ensure safety, legal compliance, and high production quality.
• Provide creative direction and ensure brand standards.
• Oversee post-production: editing, color, audio, effects.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and creative teams.
