A.T. Still University SOMA is seeking a reliable Temporary Event Assistant to support the coordination and execution of a multi-day event.

This hands-on, fast-paced role requires flexibility, organization, and a proactive approach to ensuring event operations run smoothly. Key duties include setup/breakdown, coffee service, snack distribution, breakfast and lunch support, beverage restocking, and assisting with awards dinners and ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Must be available for the full duration of the event days.
• Physically able to lift and move light to moderate items.
• Willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.
• Hospitality or event experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and breakdown for multi-day event.
• Prepare, restock, and maintain coffee service throughout the day.
• Assemble and distribute snack baskets; monitor beverages.
• Support breakfast and lunch service, cleaning up after service.
• Assist with awards dinner setup, distribution of materials, and ceremonies.
