Regions Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer in Indianapolis, Indiana to originate residential mortgage loans through a branch network. You will complete applications, evaluate requests, and maintain client contact while growing external referrals.

The role requires mortgage lending experience, a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred), and ability to work with regulators and internal teams. Compensation is commission-based with strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• One year of mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Experience developing external business via referral partners (realtors, builders, financial planners).

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests and analyzes financial data to determine qualification and collateral.
• Maintains contact with loan customers and communicates progress; gathers required docs.
• Structures loans to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Develops detailed marketing plan including referral partners and contact frequency.
• Prospects through calls and meetings to discuss loan products and qualifications.
• Cross-sells other bank products and services; builds relationships to drive business.
