Job summary

Regions Bank in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Mortgage Loan Officer to direct residential mortgage loan origination through a branch network. You will complete applications, evaluate requests, and maintain contact with clients throughout processing.

You will structure loans to comply with regulations and develop marketing plans, building relationships with realtors and builders while cross-selling bank products. This full-time role offers commission-based pay with earnings tied to performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of mortgage lending experience with proven production is required.
• Experience developing external business via referral partners is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to the loan processing and underwriting departments.
• Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and determines qualification of collateral and credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers, communicating progress and gathering documentation.
• Structures loans to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Develops detailed marketing plans and maintains relationships with realtors, builders, and developers.
• Makes sales calls to develop new business or retain existing customers.
• Cross-sells other bank products and services.
