German American Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to assess customers’ financial profiles and match them with suitable mortgage programs and bank services. You’ll work with realtors, builders, and partners to grow the loan book while delivering best-in-class service.

The role targets sale of 1–4 residential loans and requires evaluating income, assets, and liabilities to pre-qualify borrowers, with a goal of meeting volume targets and maintaining integrity and customer focus.

Formación

• NMLS State License or Federal NMLS Registration (or willingness and ability to obtain).
• 1+ years’ experience in real estate, mortgage or sales equivalent.
• Skills in: entrepreneurial and business development/sales; needs analysis – analyzing information regarding customer income/debts, etc.; verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Focus on sales and origination of 1–4 single-family residential loans within guidelines and rates set by the Bank and investors.
• Analyze income, assets, and liabilities to identify suitable mortgage programs and pre-qualify borrowers.
• Follow up with applicants to collect information to process, underwrite, and close loans; cross-sell bank products where applicable.
