German American Bank seeks a Mortgage Loan Originator in Evansville, IN to analyze borrower's profiles and recommend mortgage solutions while cultivating referral partnerships and delivering best-in-class service.

Responsibilities include evaluating income/assets/liabilities, pre-qualifying loans, and guiding applicants through processing, underwriting, and closing, with goals to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• NMLS state license or Federal NMLS registration (or willingness/ability to obtain).
• 1+ years’ experience in real estate, mortgage or sales equivalent.
• Skills in entrepreneurial and business development, needs analysis, and verbal/written/interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Sell and originate 1–4 single-family residential loans within guidelines.
• Analyze income, assets and liabilities to identify appropriate mortgage programs and pre-qualify.
• Coordinate processing, underwriting and closing; follow up with applicants.
• Cross-sell bank products and meet volume targets with integrity.
