Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee is seeking a Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse for our Level 1 Float Pool. You will float across Med Surg, Telemetry, and ED Boarding units, delivering safe, patient‑centered care in a fast‑paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 18 months of Med Surg or Telemetry RN experience, hold an accredited nursing program, and an RN license with BLS. We value adaptability, teamwork, and ongoing learning within a supportive, multi‑unit

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA).
• Minimum 18 months Med Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred).
• Commitment to ongoing learning, adaptability and teamwork across multiple care environments.

Responsibilities

• Floating between Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED Boarding units, may float to ICU caring for patients with transfer orders.
• Providing safe, evidence‑based, patient‑centered care in fast‑paced environments.
• Quickly adapting to each unit’s workflow and supporting teams with professionalism and clinical excellence.
• Demonstrating strong communication, sound decision‑making, and leadership skills.
• Supporting efforts to ensure the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
