Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN for its Internal Float Pool. The role floats across Med/Surg, Telemetry and ED Boarding, with potential ICU coverage.

You’ll deliver safe, evidence-based care in fast-paced units, adapt to workflows, and demonstrate leadership and teamwork. Ongoing specialty training is provided (ACLS, NIHSS, IV ultrasound) to support career growth.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA)
• Minimum 18 months of Med Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years strongly preferred)
• Ability to self-schedule and meet weekend shift requirements

Responsibilities

• Floating between Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED Boarding units; may float to ICU
• Providing safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care in fast-paced environments
• Quickly adapting to each unit’s workflow and supporting teams with professionalism and clinical excellence
• Demonstrating strong communication, sound decision-making, and leadership skills
• Supporting efforts to ensure a safe patient environment and best patient experience
