Job summary

The RMR Group Inc is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in preserving the property's physical integrity and providing a safe, secure living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

You will perform routine preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair a wide range of systems, and assist in make-ready repairs while adhering to company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience in maintenance property management.
• EPA Universal Certification Required.
• CPO Certification Preferred.
• Ability to earn future designations as required by Industry standards, EPA regulations, OSHA requirements, etc.
• Solid knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the property to provide a safe, secure living environment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and inspect tools.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and other systems.
• Change locks, rekey, and manage keys; assist in moving heavy items.
• Coordinate make-ready repairs and report major repairs prior to expenditures.
• Participate in on-call rotations including nights, weekends, and holidays.
