PENN Entertainment is seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare and assemble dishes per guest orders, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The role requires strong teamwork and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in a full-service restaurant. The position may involve standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adhering to health standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent and two years experience in a full service restaurant preferred or an equivalent combination thereof.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers or team members.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; knowledge of weights, measures and recipe yield.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Apprentice for Certification preferred.
• Knowledge and ability to use all kitchen tools and equipment; read, comprehend and execute recipes.

• Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to culinary team members and guests.
• Prepares food items per guest order as required including breakfast items, entrees and desserts.
• Employs proper cooking methods and cooks to specifications; handles, stores and rotates food per safety standards.
• Prepare and garnish all food orders according to menu specifications.
• Perform work assignments to meet proper quantities within a necessary time frame.
• Coordinate completion of menu items with server; set up for meal periods based on volumes.
