Job summary

Emerge is seeking a Leasing Professional to join our team at the Derby at Steeplechase community in Houston, TX. The role blends sales, customer service and marketing to lease apartment homes and build relationships with residents and prospects.

Key duties include greeting prospects, qualifying leads, presenting the community, processing applications, deposits and credit checks, and ensuring a smooth move-in process while maintaining resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of property management experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in our Lead Management Software.
• Tour and present the community to prospective residents.
• Close the sale and manage leasing/renewal processes end to end.
• Coordinate applications, deposits, and screenings.
• Support maintenance requests and resident relations.
