Job summary

Lancaster Campus is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Manager to lead leasing, on-site marketing, and outreach initiatives for maximum occupancy at our Harrisonburg property. The role reports to the General Manager and requires strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

You will conduct tours, manage inquiries, implement marketing campaigns, and supervise leasing staff while ensuring accurate paperwork and timely follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Computer skills and math ability.
• Accurate typing and record keeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Entrata is preferred.
• Ability to follow through with all necessary paperwork and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally while operating in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Market and lease units to ensure maximum occupancy.
• Serve as first point of contact for leasing inquiries; schedule appointments, convert prospects, and lead tours.
• Develop and implement proactive marketing initiatives and renewal programs.
• Maintain occupancy at maximum rates to ensure the property’s fiscal stability.
• Complete and review market surveys to stay informed about local markets.
• Walk model units daily to ensure presentation readiness.
• Record all traffic and activity daily.
• Administer guest card and follow-up programs promptly.
• Notify prospects of application status within 24 hours.
• Record resident service requests accurately and post completions.
• Follow up weekly on completed work orders.
• Assist with hiring and training new leasing personnel.
• Answer telephones as needed.
• Perform general administrative duties such as filing and typing.
