Job summary

RPM Living in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Leasing Associate to manage leasing, marketing, and resident relations for our apartment communities. You will handle tours (virtual, self-guided, in-person), process applications, and work with the community manager to move applicants through approvals.

The role requires strong customer service, sales, and organizational skills, plus familiarity with property management software. Onsite work with a flexible schedule includes evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent, or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries to schedule tours (virtual, self-guided, in-person).
• Greet and qualify prospects; assist with applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing rules.
• Process applications with credit checks and rental history verification; submit for processing.
• Coordinate with Community Manager on applicant status and approvals.
• Show apartments, close sales, prepare move-ins, obtain signatures, and provide orientation.
• Maintain social media presence to boost visibility and engagement.
• Address resident questions/requests promptly to support satisfaction and retention.
• Close sales by scheduling appointments, generating leads, conducting tours, and following up.
• Use marketing strategies to drive traffic within the marketing plan and budget.
• Represent the community positively to achieve objectives and recognition.
• Plan resident events to promote retention and host after-hours activities as needed.
• Complete lease, move-in, and check-out paperwork in a timely manner.
