Job summary

Ingenium Aerospace LLC in Rockford, IL is seeking an Inventory Specialist who blends analytical and hands-on skills. You will manage shipping, receiving, stock locations and levels, and support test equipment needs across the shop environment, with multi‑tasking and initiative essential.

The ideal candidate has experience in inventory roles, is familiar with barcode scanning, and can learn our Quantum Control ERP.

Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent in Purchasing, Manufacturing, Materials Management or related field.
4 years minimum of applicable experience in inventory or warehouse roles.
Familiarity with UPS and FEDEX shipping requirements is a plus.
Understanding of bar coding and scanning processes.

Responsibilities

All receiving and shipping activities and related documentation requirements.
Maintain inventory room and receiving dock in neat and orderly manner.
Ability to follow detailed work instructions for inventory, receiving, and shipping.
Responsible for picking parts for sub-assembly planning, kitting strategies, event timing, & sequencing.
Transport parts throughout facility (e.g., dock to inventory room, to quality lab, to production floor).
Scan and file documentation.
Assist in physical inventory count, including cycle counts.
Manage janitorial, office, and shop supplies.
Learn and understand our current ERP system, Quantum Control
All other duties assigned by manager.
