Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience in full room inclusion or Co-Teaching in Resource Room.
• Coaching environment with frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to pass FBI/BCI background checks.
• Experience in multicultural settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational and behavioral support for students with IEPs.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments.
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and draft IEP goals.
• Aim to meet student achievement and culture goals.
• Apply research-based planning and instruction.
• Incorporate culturally responsive teaching practices.
• Advise a caseload of students and communicate with families.
• Assist in non-instructional activities and duties.
