Applicants must be EMT-Paramedic certified with NC EMT-P and National Registry credentials; 1 year of active field experience preferred. Driving duties and a driving course within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• EMT-Paramedic certification current in NC.
• BCLS and ACLS required.
• Paramedic experience preferred; driving course within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Completes skills checks accurately and timely.
• Maintains clean vehicle and environment; restocks and cleans per shift.
• Documents patient care accurately; files charts promptly.
• Administers medications and IV solutions per policy.
• Adheres to safety guidelines; operates in high-stress EMS scenarios.
• Supports department activities including public relations/marketing as needed.
