Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced EMT-Paramedic to provide high-quality pre-hospital care and transport. You will administer medications, document patient care meticulously, and collaborate with Medical Control as needed to ensure patient safety and compliant care standards.

The role requires completion of an accredited EMT-Paramedic program, active NC EMT-P certification (National Registry preferred), and current BCLS/ACLS; SC/NRP credentials may be required within

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; EMT-Paramedic training required.
• Current NC EMT-P certification; National Registry Paramedic preferred or SC certification with 90-day deadline.
• BCLS and ACLS are required; PALS/STABLE/NRP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and IV solutions safely according to policy.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in records.
• Work with Medical Control when guidance is unavailable and maintain safety protocols.
• Engage in public relations and marketing activities as needed.
• Follow department vehicle and safety guidelines, including seat belt use.
